Our next Meeting
Friday, June 12, 2015
Clubhouse 1, Art Room
Would you hear your smoke alarm if you were sleeping?
If you have a hearing loss, and you have a fire, there is a danger that you won’t hear your smoke alarm. Most people have hearing loss in the high frequency range and smoke alarms most often use a high frequency alarm. So there you are; your hearing aids are on the night stand and maybe you have taken a sleeping pill. If you can’t hear the smoke alarm, how are you going to respond to a fire?
Polly Bowen from the Orange County Fire Authority will talk to us at the next Hearing Well Club meeting about fire safety and smoke alarms. You really don’t want to miss this meeting. Everybody is welcome and no charge to attend.
See you Friday, June 12, 2015 2 pm, Clubhouse 1, Art Room.
