Learn about Lipreading/Speechreading/ Sign Language
Penny Flaherty holds an M.A.Ed. in Deaf Education, Speech Pathology & Audiology.
Penny has taught sign language classes to children and adults as well as supervising
mainstreamed hearing-impaired students and their interpreters. Since 2005, Penny has been working with post-stroke adults, cochlear implant patients, and teaching the adult lipreading class through the Saddleback College Emeritus program.
