Penny Flaherty holds a M.A.Ed. in Deaf Education, Speech Pathology & Audiology.
She taught pre-school and elementary aged hearing impaired children
for ten years, and tutored infants-high school in private practice for eight years.
Penny has taught sign language classes to children and adults as well as supervising
mainstreamed hearing impaired students and their interpreters. Since 2005, Penny has been working with post stroke adults, cochlear implant patients, and teaching the adult lipreading class through the Saddleback College Emeritus program.
