Learn how to communicate with sign language!
Come join us for a fun class of learning how to talk with your hands. This class is especially helpful for those with hearing loss.
(Note: This is not ASL-American Sign Language)
Why learn sign language? Learning any language boosts brain power, develops the brain’s ability to multi-task, and improves memory.
When: Tues. 3:00-4:00 p.m.—12 weeks– Sept.18 – Dec. 4, 2018, @ Florence Sylvester Senior Center Conference room.
Class Fee: $60, and Text Fee $5-15 for Signing Exact English Dictionary by: Modern Signs Press, purchased used @ Amazon.

Penny has taught hearing impaired children for over 20 years. She currently teaches the Emeritus class, Beginning Lipreading, and works privately with clients learning sign language, auditory train-ing for hearing aids and cochlear implants, and those recovering from stroke, brain trauma, and cognitive decline.
